"RAINE MILLER ~ ROMANCE WEB WEAVER"

Image and video hosting by TinyPicI would ask that you close your eyes and imagine a beautifully woven, and intricately spun, spider's web.  One that has just been moistened with morning dew and is glistening in the dawn's rays of sunlight. Picture how it sparkles as it catches a breeze and draws your attention to a different, and unique, twist of where it would bend and sway differently.  Your attention is constantly drawn to something new, different, or idiosyncratic.  THIS is how I see the writings of Raine Miller.  Darius and Marianne; Ethan and Brynne; Jeremy and Georgina; their stories, and the details of their stories, are all woven through the intimate Web of Romance Writer, Raine Miller.  I, personally, have never read an author who so beautifully weaves contemporary and historic stories so well.  I feel transported to the places and surroundings in each.  I feel as if I know each couple as I stroll through the journey of their courtships and love.  I feel privileged that Ms. Miller includes us in walking through their lives.  These are her romance gifts to us, her readers.
Among the gifts she shares with us is a thirst for knowledge.  She so delicately piques our interests with the details of her stories.  I found that I diverted into interesting areas of photography, art, antique jewelry and literature.  All part of the beautiful web Ms. Miller spins around us as we engage ourselves into the details of her love stories.  I found myself going to her blog to investigate what the true origin of photographs and paintings were.  I Googled "David Gandy" to get a mental picture of Ethan Blackstone.  I did a web search for the writings of John Keats and exposed myself to same.  I, then, was silently touched as I witnessed a gift transcend centuries, through Raine Miller's stories, from Darius Rourke to Brynne Bennett.   In short, reading a Raine Miller romance is not merely the reading of a book, it is both a transportation and education IF you allow it to be.
The final gift I see in the Web is in the journey of healing.  We are invited to travel that journey with Marianne, Georgina, Brynne and Ethan.  If there is truth to the statement "True Love Conquers All", you will find this message firmly within the pages of Ms. Miller's stories.  They are stories of hope.  They are not pretty.  They are love in all it's ugliness and how love is used as a tool.  As with any tool it serves to rip, tear and beat away at the raw to reveal the treasure within; the unconditional gift of those it serves ~ the love.
For those who appreciate the romance of Raine Miller you will understand this text.  For those of you who have not had the experience of a Raine Miller romance add these titles to your summer reading list.
To Raine Miller ~ may you always be filled with exciting characters and the ability to share them with those who love them.  I, and the members of The B&B Book Review, are avid fans.
